As I’m sure many of you are aware, I LOVE flowers!
Every time I see a beautiful floral composition or bouquet on Instagram or Pinterest I find myself screenshotting it for future floral inspiration. So I thought I’d share a collaboration my recent floral favourites for you to appreciate too! This past couple of months I have been loving dusky pinks, peaches and pastels which are both elegant and romantic without being overwhelming.
“After women, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world.” – Christian Dior
The first bouquet caught my eye because I love how the teeny tiny white flowers balance the dominance of the large dusky pink roses. I also love the contrast of colour the bright green leaves and stems provide against the pastels.
Next up is such a beautiful arrangement! The complimentary shades of the different flowers accompanied by the range of green tones brought out in the foliage just work so well together. The time and thought that went into this arrangement was well worth it and I’d love it if this arrangement could turn up on my doorstep!
Hydrangeas… combine them with other flowers or let them stand alone, they are always the star of the show and are a definite favourite of mine!
So normally I am transfixed by Julia Engel’s wardrobe but every now and again she posts a picture of some gorgeous blooms! I love how the subtle peach and pink undertones give this arrangement a delicate glow.
Simple, elegant and speaks for itself, this gorgeous arrangement is cheap and easy to throw together and will brighten up any home; plus I love the use of a jar as a vase!
Loving the lilly and rose combination in this bouquet, especially with the extra ‘pop of pink’ the gorgeous pink limonium filler flowers provide! The use of long grass gives the arrangement height and draws the eye across the bouquet.
I finish with this lovely picture from Hooray magazine, not strictly a floral photo but when there’s flowers and cake combined, what’s not to love?! Happy Friday!
