February 2016 has been super busy; full of exciting news, new beginnings and planning for the future, it’s been a hectic month with a constant buzz of things going on, but I wouldn’t change any of it!
Here’s what we’ve been up to this past month…
Celebrating my new copywriting contract at the National Oceanography Centre. I’m super excited to head back to where I did my degree but this time as a professional rather than a student! As a copywriter it’ll be great to be writing about things I’m also really interested in!
More exciting news… We’re also celebrating putting an offer on our new flat! April 2016 we’ll be moving into our new home and I’ve got a new home series planned especially… watch this space.
Updating my home board on Pinterest ready for the move to our new flat. If you don’t already follow me on Pinterest you can do so here! Or check out my home board below:

Loving winter sunshine, red lipstick, frosty mornings, ankle boots, the smell of jasmine, house plants… and my husband (February is the month of Valentine’s after all!)
Eating afternoon tea that I made for Valentine’s day. Along with other lovely meals including lunch out at The Castle in Castleton with my family and a dinner date in Winchester with Emma & Dan.
Escaping to the North to visit my parents up in Tintwhistle and to the New Forest for our student weekend away in Brockenhurst.
Enjoying hanging out in the New Forest with this lovely lot and taking on the epic treasure hunt challenge! For the 5th year running my team won – celebrating with the sweet taste of champagne!
Dreaming about interiors. I’ve been cutting up magazines and making mood boards galore! I’ve also been dreaming about springtime! It might feel like winter but the birds are prophesying spring and with spring comes new life, lots of pretty flowers and extended hours of sunlight!
March is going to be another busy one. We’re off to Rome in a few days so keep an eye on my Instagram for some old school Roman wonders (and most probably some pizza and gelato!)
