A look back on my special delivery from Bloom & Wild…
I may have been dubious about the concept of flowers arriving through the letterbox but ‘Bloom & Wild’ really surprised me with their beautiful blooms, delivered straight to your doormat!
So let me tell you a bit about Bloom & Wild… I happened to come across the app whilst browsing the App Store in search of flower arranging tips and tricks.
The concept: flowers that you don’t have to be in to receive!
It’s quick and easy to order flowers on the app and you can even store birthdays and anniversaries so you don’t miss a special occasion.
What did I think? Well firstly, the packaging is wonderful, it’s really well thought through in terms of being letterbox friendly and cushioning your precious flowers, but it’s also nicely designed and doesn’t feel like too much of a compromise from being presented with a pre-arranged bouquet.
Okay, so you have to put together the arrangement yourself, but that’s part of the fun isn’t it? In the card there are simple instructions on how to best cut and arrange your flowers – they even have videos you can watch on their app for inspiration. This lovely bunch is called ‘The Sofia’.
The verdict: I love this service; such a simple concept but great results.
The only downside is that the buds were all closed on the day of arrival (but it makes sense that they travel better that way and in turn will last longer) so it wasn’t instantly as photogenic as perhaps a ready-made up arrangement would be. However, a few days in the flowers opened up and began to bloom beautifully! What an excellent centrepiece!
Delight your friends and family with the gift of fresh flowers delivered straight through their letterbox.
I’d definitely recommend using Bloom & Wild and have since sent a bouquet to my Mum who loved them just as much as I did!
