November has flown by so quickly! A month with many celebrations and a lovely weekend away in Swanage with food, family and fun.
This month we went to Swanage in Dorset for a family birthday celebration. Wrapping up warm and embracing the autumn weather, we enjoyed walks along the beach, visiting the cute coffee shops and browsing the boutique gift shops. Swanage is a lovely town to visit at any time of year and I’d highly recommend it for its cute English sea-side feel.
As November is coming to a close, here’s a monthly round-up of things I’ve been enjoying, including pictures from our Swanage adventures!
Loving candles, cold frosty mornings, woolly jumpers, hot soup, open fires, old English pubs. The scent of cherry pumpkin pie is a perfect autumnal treat!
Celebrating a hen do, a wedding and a 50th birthday.
Escaping Southampton for the weekend with a trip to Swanage.
Eating wedding cake, birthday cake, Thanksgiving cake… just lots of cake!
Updating our selection of Christmas decorations in preparation for December!
Baking orange biscuits, apple and raspberry crumble, chocolate cake, gingerbread biscuits.
Watching The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 2, Adele at the BBC and How to Get Away With Murder (season 2).
Following a lot of new people on instagram and Pinterest for some Christmas inspiration.
Enjoying spending time with my lovely husband!
Making new friends with lots in common and lots to talk about.
Wearing woolly jumpers, thick socks, leather boots, cosy capes and winter coats for the everyday. For evening wear, I’ve been loving golds, deep reds and classic LBD’s.
November, it’s been wonderful! Now, the official countdown to Christmas can begin!
