March 2016 has flown by! A city break in Rome, making plans and shopping for the new flat, a wonderful Easter, fun time with family and lots of lovely food, it’s been a really fun month!
Eating copious amounts of pizza, pasta and gelato in Rome followed by roast dinners, hot cross buns, crumpets, cake and easter eggs back home! As well as a sneaky trip to The Pig – one of my favourites (as you may have read here).
Drinking lots of peppermint tea (everyone knows I’m a bit of a tea-lover!)
Taking a selfie with this guy… Doesn’t everyone now and then?
Escaping work for our long weekend in Rome, a day trip to Poole and the extra long bank holiday weekend for Easter! If only they lasted forever…
Watching the 3rd film in the Divergent series and thinking it ended slightly inconclusively… without realising that there’s actually a 4th film to come!
Loving Rome, being by the sea, spring flowers, early morning sunshine, long weekends, walks in the New Forest, good food and great company!
Enjoying exploring new places, the smell of freshly cut grass, the sight of blooming flowers, time to relax, sunshine and holidays!
Reading A LOT of articles from My Domaine as well as hunting down lots of new blogs to read and follow!
Exploring / Racing around Rome in this little electric car! SO MUCH FUN! You can read all about our Rome adventures shortly where I’ll share all the travel stories from our long weekend in Rome!
Updating our furniture collection ready for the house move by hitting the early morning (7am!) Next Sale and picking up some bargains! I also got some bits and bobs of Gumtree, ready for an upcycling project so watch this space…
Making Mars bar chocolate Easter nests, yum! You can get the recipe here.
Dreaming about how beautiful the rest of spring will be. Warmer temperatures, longer days, moving house and working my way through my spring bucket list!
Onto April where we’ll be mainly focussed on moving into our new flat (which you can read about in my ‘New Home’ series) and my business trip to Liverpool with work, but I’m sure there’ll be plenty of time for lots of other fun things too!
